After breakfast, at 8:30am, you depart for Cu Chi tunnels. Located 60km from the city center, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. Start our tour in the morning, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Free shooting by AK47 riffle or M16 carbin in “free target zone” (bullet fee is paid by yourselves). Afternoon you’ren transferred to Ho Chi Minh airport to take the direct flight to Da Nang city in Central Vietnam (1-hour flight). Morning private transfer to Hoi An ancient town, another UNESCO World Heritage, 33km from Da Nang. We spend the morning to enjoy a walking tour around this enchanting port town. We follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures, and visit its numerous places of interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market. Around the town we will see numerous art galleries and tailor shops, and you can even get some made-to-order clothes if you like. After lunch, private transfer to Bay Mau coconut village, 4km from Hoi An town. Originally, there were 7,000 square meters of freegrowing coconut forest. Situated near a mangrove estuary, it is a unique salt marsh ecological area with a submerged forest ecosystem. Go on rattan boat to the core of coconut forest. Know more about the history of the forest during the Vietnam War. Boat riding race (fun, if you want to join). Relax in foot massage, then return to your hotel. Back to your hotel in Da Nang. Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and start to visit Ba Na Hills - King Mountain (70km). On arrival at the hills, you will admire the high by the most modem cable car system in Southeast Asia. You will visit Dream Stream Cable car Station. After finishing the first cable car, you will visit France wine cellar, Linh Ung pagoda. You will see the panorama of Da Nang City. Have a buffet lunch at the restaurant on the peak. Visit and play game at the Fantasy Park. Explore King Peak at an altitude, you can see panorama view of the Hana Hills and Quang Nam - Da Nang on high. On the top of mountain have Linh Tu Pagoda that is a special temple construction. Walk on the 150-meter long GOLDEN BRIDGE, a new hot trending attraction in Ba Na hills. The bridge is located at a height of 1,400M, between a sea of clouds. Standing here watching the scene that has taken photos, the more and more, make sure not to harm anyone. Return to Da Nang city and enjoy an Indian dinner there. After dining, today is on Saturday, you take photos on Dragon Bridge where the dragon statues breath fires and water at 21:00. After breakfast, you visit My Son sanctuary, another UNESCO world heritage, a chain of 70 architectural Hinduism towers ranging from small to great size. It used to be holly land of Champa people from the 4th to 13th century. In the 4th century, in the King Bhadravarman’s time, after the construction of Tra Kieu, the religious center of Cham kingdom was set in My Son to welcome royal members, aristocrats and host important religious rituals. Continually developing through nearly nine centuries, My Son witnessed the glorious, prosperous as well as declining time of Champa kingdom. Afterwards, you take the direct flight to Phu Quoc islands (1.5-hour flight). Upon arrival at Phu Quoc airport, you meet our local guide then private transfer to your hotel to check in.
